| | ► | Opening hours service departments over the holidays: |
| ► | The Student Services Information Point will be closing at 4 PM on Dec 22. It will reopen at 10 AM on January 10. Of course you can get in touch with us via email. |
| ► | From December 22 until January 01 the Program Management office will be closed. We will be back on January 02. |
| ► | The Registrar's Office will be on Christmas break from December 23 until January 02. If you have any urgent issues, please address these by Wednesday (Dec 21) until 4 PM. |
| ► | The International Office will be closed from Dec 26 until January 06. Please send us an email in any urgent cases. |
| ► | The Campus Library will be closing at 6 PM on Dec 22. It will reopen at 10 AM on January 02. Write us at library@the-klu.org with any questions and requests. |
| ► | The bistro (1st foor) as well as the canteen (ground floor) will be closed from Dec 17 to January 08. |
| ► | KLU Career Connect on February 15, 2023 – Mark it in your calendar! |
| ► | IT support: If you need support with IT related issues, please open a support ticket via servicedesk@the-klu.org. Briefly describe the problem and state your name and student ID. |

Family Firms Afternoon with Prof. Barrot & Prof. Raasch |

| Please put our next KLU Family Firm Afternoon in your calendars: Jan 26th, 4 - 6 PM, in the Faculty Lounge. We will have two very inspiring guests, both of them KLU graduates: Dr. Susanne Färber (Director of Panoptikum Hamburg, her great great grand-father opened the museum in 1879) & André Eikenkötter (André has taken the leading role in a large project involving an ERP implementation at their family firm, RMW Wohnmöbel). The focus of the session will be on how to join the family business, particularly interpersonal aspects of developing into a leader. Please register by sending an email to Christina.raasch@the-klu.org by Jan 16th at the latest. |

Joint Student Info Point for all Student Affairs departments |
|
|
| With the beginning of new semester starting on January 16 all departments from the Student Affairs Unit* will have a joint Student Info Point (1st floor, previously Student Services Info Point) with new opening hours: MO - THU 10 AM - 4 PM FRI 10 AM - 2 PM. Just one of the positive aspects for you: There are no longer so many different opening hours you have to remember ;)

| There are many things to do and places to visit in Hamburg: Concerts, exhibitions, art galleries, live performances & many more!
With the Freikarte you can visit 56 inspirational institutions in Hamburg free of charge until Feb 28, 2023.
All students from this year's intake received their own culture pass (“Freikarte”) along with their enrollment kit. We still have few left at the Student Services Information Point - feel free to ask for one! |

| Find journal articles and e-books in the Library Search Engine and data, statistics, and reports in the research databases. Turn on your VPN and use the RDP for accessing the KLU full text resources and databases! If you want to renew your loan, please log in to your user account. |

| The KLU Library now provides unlimited access to Harvard Business Review Ebook Collection with around 800 ebooks which includes the HBR's Must Reads. It covers topics about leadership, management, business and finance. |
