Business Newsletter
Dear Sir or Madam,

Where can you find fresh entrepreneurial ideas while meeting clever young minds? I recommend the annual practice-based capstone projects at KLU’s master’s program. Companies weigh in with concrete questions and get to know the professionals of tomorrow. Discover more in this article. Recently, students even created startups using the format. The Accenture consultancy was also on board. We’re currently looking for partners and case presenters – is your interest piqued? Write me.

My research and teaching at Kühne Logistics University (KLU) also revolve around the entrepreneurial spirit. As Professor of Management, I’m particularly interested in start-ups as well as corporate mergers and acquisitions. Here, guidance on business practice is paramount.

In this issue, you’ll also find current research and expert opinions on supply chains, of course. Listen to a podcast about the re-regionalization of supply chains (in German). Join us in the countryside where smart parcels take the bus and train. We deal with the city, too. Three Fab City projects about sustainable urban supply chains are launching shortly.

The sun is drawing us back outside. In this spirit, I wish you a spring with inspiring encounters.

Yours,

Prof. Dr. Björn Michaelis
Associate Professor of Management Practice
